Fan Check
Character Draft

How the anime character draft works

  1. Everyone starts with $30 for the whole game and six empty traits to fill.
  2. A character is put up: the wheel spins and lands on somebody who can actually do something.
  3. The table bids in turn. Only the winner pays, and a character nobody wants is spent and replaced.
  4. Win one and you choose which of your six traits they fill. That trait is settled for good.
  5. When every sheet is full the table decides how to finish: a vote, or hand it to the judge.
  • 4,063 characters from 270 shows that can field somebody
  • Six traits: ability, strength, speed, intellect, battle IQ, willpower
  • $30 each, and running dry leaves holes in your character
  • An AI judge that scores every pick and argues its case
Questions
How many people can play?
Two to eight, each on their own phone or laptop, joined with the five-letter code above.
Why are some anime missing?
The draft only rolls from shows that can field somebody worth drafting — fighters, powers, schemers, athletes, detectives — so romance and slice of life sit this one out. Inside a qualifying show everybody stays in: rolling a frail grandmother out of a fighting shonen is the fun part.
What decides who wins?
The table votes, or an AI anime nerd scores all six picks and makes the case for the strongest character. You choose which when the drafting ends.
Is it free?
Yes. No app, no account, no sign-up — host a room and share the code.
