How Anime Imposter works
- Everyone but the imposter sees the secret character. The imposter sees a hint about them instead.
- Going round the table, each player gives a clue about the character: type it in, or say it out loud.
- Three rounds of clues, then the table talks it over. Tap anyone to see every clue they gave.
- Everyone votes for who they think the imposter is.
- Miss, and the imposter wins. Catch them, and they get one last guess at the character to steal the win.

Questions
- How many people can play?
- Three to eight, each on their own phone or laptop, joined with the five-letter code above.
- What does the imposter get?
- A short hint about the character, like a power, a role or a personality, never the show they're from. Enough to bluff with, not enough to be sure.
- Can we play with just one anime?
- Yes. Pick a custom pool with only the shows you all know, and the character and the imposter's last guess both come from it.
- Is it like Among Us or Spyfall?
- It's the same idea: one player is the odd one out and has to bluff. Instead of a location or a task, the secret is an anime character, and the imposter only gets a hint like “fire user” or “the rival”.
- What makes a good clue?
- Something that proves you know the character without handing it to the imposter. Too obvious and the imposter catches on; too vague and the table starts suspecting you.
- Can we play over a video call?
- Yes. Everyone joins on their own device with the code, and anyone can press “I said it out loud” to give their clue by voice instead of typing it.
